Compulsory registration of all Malagasy citizens in the uk at the embassy, in order to obtain the consular card that will facilitate any administrative process (e.g.: Grant of the definitive leave form or "laissez passer" in case of loss of passport...)
- If registered, please send
- one passport photograph,
- proof of address,
- one pre-paid envelope,
- please provide e-mail address and telephone number
- If not yet registered
- please send two passport photographs,
- one copy of passport,
- proof of address,
- pre-paid envelope,
- 3 pounds and the application form filled
PLEASE FORWARD THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS
- 1 registration form duly completed (recto verso) and signed + 2 photocopies
- 3 passport-size photographs
- 3 Photocopies of passport: pages 1, 2, 3, 32 + page with residency visa in the UK and/or proof of address in UK.
- Fee: £ 3.00
Apply for a "Laissez Passer" at the embassy only if you are registered, that will allow you to travel back to Madagascar and apply for a new biometric passport at the local Home Office (Ministère de l’Intérieur).
IF YOUR PASSPORT IS A NON BIOMETRIC PASSPORT
It is highly recommended to apply for a biometric passport to Madagascar. Only the latter will allow you to travel abroad from Madagascar.
